Permenant Housing Credit

In 2022 we launched a pilot program for first time Black Home Buyers in Pierce County WA in response to racial disparities in homeownership statewide. In 2022, credible studies found that racial demographics of homeownership in WA is worse than during the years of Jim Crow. Black people continue to fall behind due to the impacts of redlining, discriminatory lending, blockbusting, and more.  So, we decided to offer assistance in effort to close that gap one family at a time.  Our program provides gift funds at closing up to $3,000. To date, we have helped 5 local families purchase their very first home!
